Dear Friends,

Rotary’s 2nd Annual West GA Talent Competition is scheduled for Saturday, January 28th, 2023, at the Carrollton Center for the Arts (Cultural Arts Center). This annual fundraiser supports Rotary’s on-going mission of service above self. Last year, we used funds from this event to reconnect those living in communities who had been disconnected due to the pandemic through art and music in an incitive titled #notforgotten. This year Rotary is partnering with The Carroll County Child Advocacy Center. We are writing to share a bit about Rotary, the competition, and to ask you to consider a tax-deductible donation to support Rotary’s mission and ultimately our greater West Georgia community.

For over 115 years, Rotary Clubs around the globe have been working tirelessly to address the challenges and needs of local communities. On a weekly basis, professionals with diverse backgrounds in local communities gather to exchange ideas, form meaningful life-long friendships, and give back to their local communities. In addition to #notforgotten and partnering with The Carroll County Child Advocacy Center, The Rotary Club of Carrollton supports the following: The UWG Dr. Rash Education Scholarship, West Georgia Technical College Education Scholarship, Carroll County Council on Aging, Carroll County Training Center, the Neva Lomason Library, THS Emergency Shelter, The Blake House, and Carroll County Mental Health Advocates.

The Rotary Club of Carrollton is pleased to offer a variety of sponsorship packages for the event to help secure funds for our many charities including our partnership with The Carroll county Child Advocacy Center this year. Based on your sponsorship level, you will receive recognition in the event’s program and on the website, recognition throughout the talent competition, and special seating for the live show.

Your support of the 2nd Annual West GA Talent Competition is critical to our success. Through the generosity of many businesses and individuals, our goal is to raise $30,000 to support our many charities.
