Ella Beth- Artist Bio
Ella Beth is an Australian jazz-soul singer/songwriter. She has been performing professionally for over a decade both in Australia and internationally from Asia to Europe to the Middle East. Her voice has been compared to singers of Jazz/ Soul like Amy Winehouse, Dusty Springfield and Joss Stone. Meanwhile her music and songwriting carry elements of folk, country, celtic and blues music.
Her live performances can range from crooning smooth jazz to belting out soul ballads, all while cleverly weaving stories into her music; making her not only a flexible vocalist but also a well rounded performer.
During her time in Vietnam, Ella Beth also hosted a number of Open Mic Nights, notably at Hanoi Rock City for 3 years, building the live music scene and community.
She also toured internationally to Italy in 2019 with jazz collective ‘The Hanoing Jazz Band’ with whom she was a lead vocalist.
To date, her most lauded international acclaim came from being a finalist on The Voice Vietnam 2019 where she performed bilingually in both English and Vietnamese.
In 2021, Ella Beth relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she currently performs in the frontline of corporate band, Big Night Dynamite, touring the South Eastern quarter of the USA almost weekly.
In late 2023, she released her debut single ‘Unlike Me’ a soulful RnB number with heavily jazz influenced chords and harmonies.
In early 2024, Ella Beth released her sophomore single ‘Giving Up On Love’, a sassy popified blues track that you might expect to hear in a smoky jazzy piano bar. Both tracks can be found anywhere you listen to music on the internet.
Ella is currently in pre-production for a number of projects coming in later 2024.
